Frankenstein – the Milestone of Horror Film

The horror film experienced a great series of transformations and development throughout the beginning of the 20th century, and 1931 has become the year of two grand films that shaped the profile of the whole future horror film industry tremendously. The first film is “Dracula” based on the story about the vampire, and the second film is “Frankenstein” directed by James Whale. The original piece of fiction on which the work was based was the novel of Mary Shelley; however, the film itself was based on the screenplay written by Peggy Webling.
I like the story about Frankenstein and I ordered the best custom essay at a cheap essay writing service about the way it has shaped the modern horror. Hence, I watched this film and enjoyed it very much as well.Jack Pierce is starring in the role of Frankenstein, though there are few who can recognize him under the heavy make-up. His creator, Henry Frankenstein (played by Colin Clive), is a professor obsessed by natural sciences, and he dreams of creating the life out of dead parts of the body. He manages to do so, but the creature he has brought to life horrifies him, and he abandons the Frankenstein Monster. The fiancée of Henry, Elizabeth (played by Mae Clarke), waits for her fiancé without realizing what he is doing in the watch tower, and she falls as the first victim of the mad monster suffering from rejection and loneliness.
